OAMGA Annual Dinner 2007 |

OAMGA had the annual dinner at a very unusual venue - Akuna Bay Function Centre, on a full moon night 27 Oct2007.
Our guest of Honour was Hon. Auditor General Mr. Philip Ruddock who had specially made up time for OAMGA despite his busy schedule of the Federal election. He reminded all of us about the special association he and his party had developed with OAMGA, which will no doubt continue in the future. Our guest speaker was Mr. Stuart Boland, Surgeon, ex president of AMA and ASA gave a very colourful speech about the association of AMA and OAMGA which has developed during the last 25 years.
The fact that two members of OAMGA are representing on different committees of AMA the amicable association which has been nurtured has been mutually beneficial indeed. We had Andrew Kaegan AMA -NSW President who gave us an insight into the Medico-Political situation and the future direction that health is progressing.
